Interesting Fact

Mrs. Campbell has experienced several teaching philosophies first hand; she attended a Waldorf High School and worked in Montessori Schools. She has also volunteered in both Public and Catholic schools and spent time in Forest Schools. She is also a Girl Guide leader. These experiences have given her a unique outlook on education and the importance of focusing on each child’s needs and learning style while incorporating a well designed and language rich curriculum such as at KWBS.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe all children are capable, contributing members of our community, each with their unique talents and gifts to share, and each with the power to influence their own education…I strive to create a small world of peace by supporting each child in their learning through creatively encouraging them to think independently while forming a fully inclusive classroom environment.  I strongly believe in the importance of including the natural world daily…rain or shine, snow or wind – out we go!
