Brianna Liang (Grade 5) was one of 8 students in Waterloo Region selected by Mayor Jaworsky to win the “One Idea Project”. Brianna’s winning idea was to create more volunteer opportunities in our community for kids under 14. Brianna is busy learning about local government as Ward 1’s newest Student Counsellor. Mayor Jaworsky will visit Brianna’s classroom several times this term. Recently, Mayor Jaworsky even delivered a pizza lunch to Brianna and her classmates. Félicitations, Brianna!
