University of Waterloo’s Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) is dedicated to inspiring students to reach further with mathematics and computer science. The CEMC has grown into one of Canada’s foremost authorities on mathematics and computer science for young people. It is the largest organization of its kind in Canada; more than 265,000 students in over 80 countries register for our 15 contests each year. The Pascal contest is written by Grade 9 and lower students. KWBS students came in 3rd place in our region, behind high schools WCI and Cameron.
