Our Building

Our school site combines the best of old and new. We have a beautifully renovated historic fieldstone school house that dates from 1867 which is used for special occasions and extra-curricular activities with small groups. We also have a state-of-the-art new school building which was opened in 1999. An elevator was installed in the summer of 2012 to make the building fully wheelchair accessible.

The two-storey school building consists of classrooms, a library, computer lab, gymnasium, music room, art room, teachers’ lounge, washrooms, kitchen, and office space, all with non-slip flooring. Special attention has been paid to the highest quality of water and air within the building. Our school yard is fenced and beautifully landscaped and it contains a delightful playground that students really enjoy.

The old school house:

The historic school house on our property, once known as the Rummelhardt School, has been a part of our environment since the school purchased the site in 1966.
